About UAIB

Mr. Bammeke is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London (FCII); he also holds a B.Sc. degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos and M.Sc. in Insurance and Risk Management from CASS Business School. He has over 30 years’ experience in the Insurance industry as an insurance and reinsurance underwriter and also as an insurance and reinsurance broker.

His area of interest includes Enterprise Risk Management, ART and has been involved in lecturing in these areas. He is a visionary, consummate professional and has attended many seminars in Risk Management and Project Management and is also a graduate of the Advance Management Program (AMP) of the Lagos Business School.

He is a sound trainer and facilitates in various Risk management, Insurance / Reinsurance programs in the insurance industry both locally and internationally.

Mrs. Akinbohunje is responsible for the running of the Finance Department of the organization. She is an Associate of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Nigeria (ACIIN) and also holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Master's Degree in Finance. She has over 20years of Insurance and Reinsurance Accounting experience; she joined The United African Insurance Brokers in 2001. She is a graduate of the Senior Management Program (SMP) at the Lagos Business School.

Before joining UAIB, she started her career with Lion of African Insurance Company as Agency staff in the Accounts Department. As an experienced Manager she is exposed to Insurance and Reinsurance accounting practices. She has also participated in both Insurance and Reinsurance courses, seminars, and workshop both locally and internationally.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Federal University of Technology, Akure. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute Nigeria. He is a graduate of the Senior Management Program (SMP) at the Lagos Business School.

Mr. Abidoye has functioned in both Underwriting /Claims Reinsurance department of ACEN Insurance Company from where he joined UAIB as a Broker in 2002. As an experience insurance practitioner with over 25years in the Reinsurance Market, he is conversant with Reinsurance practice in African Markets. With his wealth of experience he trains, mentors, and develops personnel in the insurance industry. He keeps updating himself and has participated in several Insurance & Reinsurance Courses, Seminars, and workshops both locally and internationally.

Mr. Olubummo is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Nigeria (MCIPM); he holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria and MBA in Strategic Management from Northampton University UK. He is an Alumni of the prestigious Lagos Business School, Nigeria and the University of Huddersfield Business School, UK. He holds a Post Graduate degree in Strategic Management & Leadership from Metropolitan School of Business Management (MSBM), UK; He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) UK.

He is scrupulously involved in Human Capital Development and his area of interest includes Strategic Management & Leadership Management as he is regularly involved in facilitating in these areas. He has continuously participated in various continuous development programs (CDP) courses in Leadership, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Risk Management in insurance/Reinsurance, Compliance Management, Anti Money Laundering & Combating Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) and Strategic Management both locally and internationally.
